Can anyone help me?

I have a pdf file of my business letterhead that has been used to print my company paperwork and I want to turn this into a digital version as I have a requirement for that too. I am seeking a step by step guide for best practice on how to add editable fields to the document so that I can insert letter type text and use it for other purposes. I then need to be able to save the document so I can email it to customers/suppliers. I have attempted to do this although am not sure if i've saved or prepared the document correctly as when I send the document it just goes as a blank template file and the inserted text has disappeared.

 

My requirement is to create a few files so I can use it as a letterhead, delivery note and purchase order initially so any help on how I could go about this would be appreciated.
