Fonts Don't Appear in Text Field Menu

I created a certificate in InDesign CC under Windows 7 with four fields to be filled in and then printed for the recipients. I used Arial, Arial Bold and Arial Narrow Bold. All eight varieties of Arial are on my computer, all show up in the InDesign font menu and all eight can be used. (Same in the MS Word environment.) All eight are legal Monotype fonts. When I look at the font details in the Control Panel under font embeddability, regular, italic, bold and bold italic are identified as "editable." Narrow, narrow italic, narrow bold and narrow bold italic are identified as "installable."

However when I export the form, open it in Acrobat to edit the fields (center the text and change the typeface from Times), Arial Narrow, Bold and Bold Italic aren't in the Font menu drop down under Appearance, under Text Feild Properties. The other five flavors are there along with what appears to be a lot (but not all) of the fonts installed on my computer. As a test, I included the three missing fonts in the text of the certificate and they appeared in the PDF and printed out just fine. But they still didn't appear in the font list.

What's up?
