For radio buttons and check boxes in Acrobat you find the unselected items by testing for a value of "Off". In LiveCycle you need to know the unselected value for each field.

It's something you do. Be sure to keep an un-extended copy, as extending it locks out some things. There are specific limits in the license. If no form is ever to be used by 500 people you will be ok.
