You changed "incremental select" to "autocomplete", so I'm guessing that if the user enters characters on the keyboard, you want just the list items that match to appear. Dropdowns (combo boxes) do not work that way in Acrobat/Reader, but the user can cycle through items that begin with a certain character by repeated pressing that character.
